How To: iOS 8 Lets You Add Rich Text & Photos (Even GIFs) To Notes on Your iPhone
Quickly jotting down grocery lists, recommended books, phone numbers, and addresses, among other things, has been a pretty straightforward process on an iPad or iPhone. Through the Notes app, you can enter information and have it seamlessly synced across all of your iOS devices, making access to them simple, quick, and universal.Well, things are getting even better in the Notes app in iOS 8. In the new version, you'll be able to jot down your notes in rich text (bold, italics, and underline), as well as be able to include photos. I'll show you how it works. Please enable JavaScript to watch this video.

#1. Inserting Rich Text in NotesSimply by selecting a word (or words), you will now have an option to bold, italicize, and underline the text. Below you can see bold, italics, and underline on some of my grocery list items in the Notes app.

#2. Adding Photos to NotesTo insert an image into a note, hold down where you want the image to be to bring up the select/insert menu with the Add Photo option, where you can then choose a picture from your Camera Roll. It may not be the prettiest thing in the world, but it does work as a useful companion for your written notes. When making a list of things to buy at the grocery store, just take a picture and know exactly what you need—brand, label, and all.
